By State of Michigan law, MCL 560.102(r), each County must establish a PLAT BOARD which consists of the Register of Deeds who acts as Chair, County Clerk who shall act as Secretary, and the County Treasurer. The charge to this board is to examine, approve, or disapprove all plats and subdivisions in Newaygo County.
The Plat Board Meeting Schedule:
Plat Board Meetings are scheduled as needed. or The First Tuesday of each month.
If there is no business to come before the Plat Board, the meeting will be cancelled.
Deadline to submit a plat for review is 3pm, 2 days before a scheduled meeting.
