Customer Service – Customer service is a vital aspect of any technical support team. The IT department is here to serve the technical needs of Newaygo County employees in a professional and timely manner.
Offer Solutions – It is understandable that IT technicians will not have answers for every technical dilemma they encounter. If an immediate solution cannot be found, technicians are expected to research the issue, utilizing all available resources until a solution is found. If the solution is not acceptable to the employee, then an alternative solution may be offered.
Confidentiality – Confidentiality is extremely important to all IT staff. Staff members are expected to act ethically and responsibly with the county’s data and information. They will not share confidential information with any inside or outside entities unless deemed necessary as stated in the Newaygo County Information Technology Resource Policy.

Communication is essential for gathering information, determining clients’ wants and needs, and helping clients to understand the choices made by the IT department.
