The campground currently offers 4 camping cabins, 60 campsites, 24 are full hook-up (water, sewer, and electric), and the remaining 36 sites are electric. There are two bathroom/shower buildings and a shelter building. Additionally, the Park contains a sanitation station, play areas, a swimming beach, horseshoes, beach volleyball, hiking trails, a picnic area, an enclosed shelter building, and a nearby boat launch.
Enjoy a hike in Michigan’s north woods. From the trailhead at Diamond Lake County Park, adventurous hikers may trek forth on the 10-mile circular Birch Grove Trail. This trail passes through the Manistee National Forest through the only wildflower sanctuary (Loda Lake Wildflower Sanctuary) within the entire National Forest System. Birch Grove trail also connects with the National Park Service’s 4,600-mile-long North Country National Scenic Trail.
Diamond Lake County Park is now ORV-friendly. Please follow the speed limits and stay on marked roadways while enjoying the Park! Motor Vehicle Passes are required for ORVs.
