Volunteer Opportunities
The Commission on Aging is currently taking applications for volunteers, you must be 18 years or older to apply or be accompanied by an adult. If you wish to volunteer please complete the volunteer application and bring it into the Commission on Aging or e-mail to Tara Flaquel at tara.flaquel@newaygocountymi.gov.
Current Volunteer Openings:
Volunteer Transportation
- Drive older adults 60 and older to medical appointments in Newaygo County, Grand Rapids, Muskegon, and/or Big Rapids.
- Mileage reimbursed at .655 cents per mile
