White Pine Adult Day Group (WPADG)

Our Adult Day Services are available to assist both the people in need of care and caregivers. Adult Day Services provides opportunities for socialization, recreation, and activities to increase mental skills. Some transportation and a noon meal are provided for those receiving care. Caregivers often experience increased emotional stress and health impairments.  When caregivers become stressed and/or physically compromised, it increases the likelihood that care recipients will be placed in long term care facilities.  By providing a safe place for care recipients to socialize, exercise, participate in activities, make some choices, and remain socially and cognitively active, the Adult Day Services assist to relieve some of the constant physical and emotional stress of the caregiving responsibilities, thereby helping to keep people, caregivers and care recipients, in their homes for as long as possible.
