Courts across Michigan are currently conducting many matters remotely via Zoom to keep the community safe and reduce the spread of COVID-19.  Michigan Courts must meet certain criteria which places them in phases.  These phases are based on the amount of COVID-19 in each county and impact a court’s ability to have parties and visitors in the courthouse and the types of services that can be provided in-person.

The Newaygo County Courthouse is currently in Phase 2.  Please see the attached Local Administrative Order and Press Release further explaining this phase.

Remote Appearance

Please see the Circuit Court Appearing with Zoom page for more details and tips on how to appear successful via Zoom.  After reviewing the information, if you still need assistance with appearing remotely, please contact the Circuit Court at (231) 689-7252 or circuitcourt@co.newaygo.mi.us.
