2026 Rates and Fee
Newaygo County Parks Motor Vehicle Permits(MVP) is required for entrance.
- Daily MVP- $8
- 3-Day MVP- $24
- Annual MVP- $35 (Newaygo County Only)
- Regional Recreation Pass- $60 *(All Newaygo and Mecosta County Parks)*
Other Fees:
- Reservation Fee- $5 per reservation
- Non-Camper use of sanitation station- $25
- Modification Fee- $10 (Only reservation changes that generate a partial refund are charged this fee)
- Firewood- $7 per bundle
- Ice – $4 per 7# bag (where available)
2026 Camping Fees
2026 Reservations Begin Online January 5th, 2026 at 9:00 AM EST!
To ensure everyone has a fair chance for a reservation, unneeded online reservations will be charged the full cancelation fee. Feel free to call the Park office if you have questions or concerns about how to use the online reservation system; please do not overbook online.
Reservation fee (Applies to all reservations) – $5.00
Please note payments are due in full at the time the reservation is made
A valid Newaygo County Motor Vehicle Permit is required for each day a vehicle is in the park
All campsite and cabin reservations require a 2-night minimum (3 nights on holidays)
For 1-night reservations, you must call your Park of choice for a reservation. (1-night reservations do not apply to cabins)

Cancelation and Modification Policy
In an effort to ensure fair distribution of campsites for all of our customers, the following Cancelation Policy has been implemented by the Newaygo County Park and Recreation Commission.
Holiday Cancelations: Cancelations for reservations that include a Holiday or Hot Boat are non-refundable. There will be no exceptions. In addition, modifying holiday reservations to other weekends will not be permitted.
Non-holiday Cancelations: Cancelations received 11 or more days in advance will be charged a $25 cancelation fee, with the remaining balance refunded to the customer. Reservations canceled 10 or fewer days in advance will be charged the $25 cancelation fee and two nights camping fees, with the remaining balance refunded to the customer.
Non-Holiday 21-Day Stay Cancelations: Cancelations received 11 or more days in advance will be charged a $50 cancelation fee, with the remaining balance refunded to the customer. Reservations canceled 10 or fewer days in advance will be charged the $100 cancelation fee with the remaining balance refunded to the customer.
Seasonal Cancelations: Seasonal cancelations made on or after the beginning of the season are not eligible for a refund.
Reservation Modifications: Any reservation modification that generates a partial refund will be charged a $10 fee.
HOLIDAYS AND SPECIAL EVENTS ASSESSED AN ADDITIONAL $5.00 PER NIGHT AND REQUIRE A 3 NIGHT MINIMUM RESERVATION
